Location

3 Albany Terrace is positioned above Porthminster beach in a quiet elevated part of the town. All four beaches, the harbour and all shops and restaraunts are within a short walk.
The Local Area:- The nearest restaurant is the famous Porthminster Beach Cafe. The town has scores of good restaurants, bars, cafes and pubs. Amongst our favourites are The Porthminster Beach Cafe, St.Ives Tearoom, The Firehouse and Blas Burgerworks.
Attractions in the town include The Tate Gallery, Barbara Hepworth Museum and The Bernard Leach Pottery.
Porthminster is the safest beach for swimming and small children and Porthmeor Beach is the best town beach for surfing, bodyboarding etc.
The SW Coastal footpath is easily accessible in both directions and quickly brings you out onto some spectacular scenery. We particularly recommend walking on the coast path to Zennor – maybe to have lunch at the Tinners Arms and to return on the open top bus service.
Many more beaches and attractions are within a short drive.
Surfers are particularly welcome!
